Designated Copyright Agent
Notices of claimed infringement should be sent to our designated copyright agent at help@catchontv1.email with the subject line "DMCA Notice". Using email ensures the fastest response.
Filing a Takedown Notice
To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include the following in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its location on the Site, with enough detail for us to locate it
- Your contact information, including a valid email address and, if available, a mailing address and telephone number
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Our Response
Upon receipt of a valid notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material within 48 hours and will notify the user or source who provided it where appropriate. We keep a copy of all DMCA notices and counter-notices on file for a minimum of 3 years as required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Repeat violations are reported to the United States Copyright Office under the DMCA Designated Agent Directory program.
Counter-Notice
If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court. Send counter-notices to help@catchontv1.email.
Repeat Infringers
In appropriate circumstances under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(i)), we will terminate access for users or sources that are determined to be repeat infringers after receiving 3 valid notices within a 12-month period. Terminated accounts are flagged in our Stripe payment records and associated Cloudflare account metadata to prevent re-registration using the same billing details.
